4. Should Chicago Bears sign Ethan Pocic?

Ethan Pocic was a former second-round pick by the Seattle Seahawks. He spent five years with the Seahawks and overall you have to admit that his stint in Seattle was a disappointment. However, he went to the Cleveland Browns and wound up becoming one of the value signings of the season.

He was great at center, and while he did miss some time with an injury, he played in 819 snaps. During his career he has 2,419 snaps at center, so the experience is there. He is six years into the NFL, but he was a former top-40 pick, so the talent was always there.

The Chicago Bears want to run a scheme with zone concepts similar to the Cleveland Browns. Ethan Pocic could be a nice fit. If the Chicago Bears believe that last year was not a fluke, they could be the team that pays up for Pocic.

For Pocic, he has to be happy the Browns gave him this chance, but he will be 28 next season and he saw the side of free agncy when he was unwanted. It would be no shock if Pocic took the deal with the most guarnatees, regardless of situation. Will the Chicago Bears be that team to pay for him?
