1. Is Scott Quessenberry a free agent fit for the Chicago Bears?

Scott Quessenberry was a former fifth-round pick by the Chargers. The team kept him for four years, and while he started here and there, he was typically in a reserve role. In his fifth season, he signed with the Houston Texans in free agency.

He did not start in the first week of the season but finished out the rest of the year as a starting center, his first legitimate time getting a full season. It obviously hurt that he was with the Houston Texans, but his tape was not great.

Still, Quessenberry is going to be 28 years old and is going to be starting at center for the second straight season. The Chicago Bears could look to him to start, and honestly, while he was not great, he could at least be a better option than Sam Mustipher.

Scott Quessenberry will not be a high-priced free agent, so the Chicago Bears should keep an eye on what type of value they can get out of him.
