3. Chicago Bears need an up and comer like Zach Allen

Zach Allen is the player who is a contrast to Javon Hargrave. In Hargrave you know what you are getting and saw big-time production in big moments. However, he is older. Zach Allen is about four or five years younger but does not have the production. The question is whether you think you can get that out of him.

The one reason that could be expected is that Allen has asceneded every season. He went from not playing as a rookie to two sacks, then four, then 5.5. He is still just 25 going on 26 next season, so the thought is that there is a lot more to come from Allen.

Zach Allen had been playing beside JJ Watt for years, and many have talked about his growth being correlated to the work that he put in with Watt. He has to take off without Watt now, but everything is in place.

He has the youth that projects upside, the athletic capabilities, he is a solid run defender and an improving pass rusher every season. This makes a lot of sense. Some teams will be hesitant because they are paying for projection, but the Chicago Bears have the most cap space. It could be a fit.
