2. Should Chicago Bears sign Ty Nsekhe

Despite just 25 career starts, Ty Nseke has been in the NFL since 2012. That is how you know that a player is not only a trusted depth piece as a backup, but also that he knows how to set a good culture and play his role in helping younger players come along. That is exactly why he is a great fit for the Chicago Bears.

Nseke started his career with the Rams as UDFA, but he caught on with Washington from 2015 through 2018. This is where he made most of his starts. He signed with the Buffalo Bills from 2019 to 2020 and then was a depth player for the Cowboys in 2021 before ending up with the Rams again in 2022.

The big issue with Nseke is that he came into the NFL late and will be 38 before this season ends. Still, as we noted, he is a better locker-room player than Alex Leatherwood, and he knows his duty.

Beyond that, he has 1,421 snaps at left tackle, 563 at right tackle, and even 195 at left guard, and 16 on the right side. The Chicago Bears could use some depth from the left tackle side, but he has enough experience not only to help Wright adjust to the NFL but also sub in if an injury or roadblock occurs.
