4. Will the Chicago Bears sign Yetur-Gross Matos or Marquis Haynes?

While all eyes will be on the Carolina Panthers' big-name edge rusher, it will present the chance for the Chicago Bears to poach a couple of depth edge rusher options. Yetur Gross-Matos and Marquis Haynes will both be free agents this year. Gross-Matos had just 4.5 sacks, while Haynes had one last year.

When you add in that there will be a new regime, both have a great chance to make it to free agency. Neither is a game-changing addition, but both of them are a quality depth that would improve the room that needs it in Chicago.

Gross-Matos can play all over the line and works best with stunts, which Matt Eberflus loves to deploy. Gross-Matos missed time with a hamstring injury this year but still ended up with a career-high in sacks. He would be looked at as an upgrade over Rasheem Green.

The same can be said with Marquis Haynes, who has been in the NFL since 2018 and has been a reliable depth option, mainly because he can handle the run as well as rush the passer. The Bears need depth, and both of them could improve the room.
