The Chicago Bears will be looking at other teams' free agency situations to see which players they can add to their improving roster. One team that will be interesting to look for this offseason is the Los Angeles Rams. They are always looking to move and shake with their roster, so what changes could be in store this offseason?

3. The Chicago Bears should watch the Los Angeles Rams offensive line in free agency

The Los Angeles Rams have some big decisions to make in free agency. First, Alaric Jackson and Kevin Doston will be free agents this offseason. Dotson was traded from the Pittsburgh Steelers and really his stride with the Rams. After such a strong season, it is hard to see the Rams even trying to let him walk.

Jackson is a restricted free agent and won the left tackle job over Joseph Noteboom this past year. The Rams will probably keep him. Still, this makes you question what they will do with Noteboom, who is due $20M this season and lost his job last year.

The Rams can make Noteboom a post-June 1 cut and save about $18M. Would the Bears bring him in to compete with Braxton Jones?

What about Brian Allen? Allen was a candidate for the Chicago Bears to sign in free agency back in 2022, but they lost him when he re-signed with the Rams. Allen lost his job to Coleman Shelton last year, and the Rams can save about $5M by letting him go this offseason.

The Chicago Bears arguably have a bigger need now than they did two years ago, so even though Allen's stock is plummeting, that only means the team could affordably sign him to compete to start at center this year. The Rams are going to let him walk, and he would upgrade anything Chicago has. This could be a fit years later.
