4 free agents on Baltimore Ravens for the Chicago Bears to sign this offseason
1. Could the Chicago Bears improve their edge rusher room with Jadeveon Clowney?
The Chicago Bears have an obvious need at edge rusher again this offseason. Does Jadeveon Clowney fit? He looked like he was close to flaming out of the NFL when he could not be the perfect sidekick to Myles Garrett, and the Browns let him go. However, he found new life with the Baltimore, tying his career-high in sacks.
Now, he is set to be a free agent again. Clowney is 30 and has turned into a mercenary of sorts, signing with a new team every year. Does that make him this year's version of Yannick Ngakoue, where he spends one year with the Chicago Bears? He is the type of player who would not be afraid to hold out into the offseason for the best deal like Ngakoue did last year.
Other names to look for include Brent Urban and Malik Harrison. They would be signed as depth, Urban on the interior, Harrison on the edge. Justin Madubuike and Patrick Queen will be free agents, but neither will end up signing with the Chicago Bears, as their needs lie elsewhere this offseason.
