1. These two veterans Dallas Cowboys could end up on the Chicago Bears

The Dallas Cowboys were expecting Brandin Cooks to ignite their offense in the playoffs, and it simply did not happen. He is 30 years old and coming off of two bad years. So, while he is signed for the next year, he may be a cap casualty. Cooks also tends to bounce around, so it would be no shock if Dallas cut him and saved about $6M on the cap.

If that happened, Chicago cannot be too proud to give him a call. His speed could open things up for D.J. Moore, and a rookie quarterback needs the veteran's help. The need is significant, and even with a couple of down years, Cooks has put up 600 yards in each of them.

One last player who will be a free agent is Jayron Kearse. It is not a big discussion point because Kearse is more of a box safety, but if they need safety help, he has to be considered right now.
