The Chicago Bears could sign these skill players in free agency.

The Chicago Bears are going to need to address wide receiver this offseason. The Detroit Lions will not see Amon-Ra St. Brown walk in free agency any time soon, but the rest of the receivers in Detroit could be available. The two names who are current free agents are Donovan Peoples-Jones and Josh Reynolds.

DPJ  was traded from the Browns during the year, and the lottery ticket did not pay off. The Bears can sign him cheaply to be a better option in the passing game than Velus Jones. Meanwhile, Josh Reynolds is coming off of one of the best stretches of his career. Reynolds averages 1.24 yards per route run for his career but was at 1.25 in 2022 and 1.28 in 2023.

Does Reynolds have loyalties to the Lions now, or is he looking to cash in after his best production, knowing he may not get a big money chance again? Does he fit with the Bears? His blocking would work, but he is really a number two option, or would the Bears sign him as depth?
