Chicago Bears Week 2 Prediction

Chicago Bears @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers

If this was the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of 2022, then I would not even think twice about making this game a loss for the Bears. Tom Brady is a million times better than Baker Mayfield. I don't expect Mayfield to be completely awful this season, but Justin Fields is going to finish the year as the superior quarterback. Even with big-name players like Mike Evans, Chris Godwin and Tristan Wirfs on the roster, I don't think it is enough to overcome poor quarterback play.

The Chicago Bears on the otherhand are going to gel offensively with the help of D.J. Moore and a new running back room. The defense is no longer going to be the worst at stopping the run. This one feels like a win to me.

Prediction: Bears Win

Chicago Bears Week 3 Prediction

Chicago Bears @ Kansas City Chiefs

We should expect the Chicago Bears to see a vast improvement in 2023 compared to 2022, however, playing the Kansas City Chiefs at this stage in the Bears' rebuild is not good timing. The Chiefs are coming off another Super Bowl victory and Andy Reid is proving to be the best current head coach in the NFL. As much as I'd love to see Justin Fields look better than Patrick Mahomes, we cannot expect the Bears to come away with a victory in this matchup. Game over for Matt Eberflus and company.

Prediction: Bears Lose
