The Minnesota Vikings are going to come back to reality this season. The Vikings found themselves winning nearly every one-score game they took part in last year. Minnesota won 11 one-score games during the regular season and the only one-score game they lost actually came in the first week of the playoffs. The Chicago Bears had the opposite luck with their one-score games. Both teams will come back to the mean in 2023.

The Chicago Bears find themselves on the losing side of this one though. As overrated as I think the Vikings are, they are still an average football team. That's all it will take to beat the Bears in this one.

Chicago Bears vs Detroit Lions

The Lions are the early favorites to win the NFC North. It might be the first time in over a decade for that to be true. They finished the year 9-8 but were unable to make the playoffs. The road will not be easy for Detroit, but they should be a highly competitive team again. Their recent draftees are a little suspect, but Jahmyr Gibbs should add more firepower to a high-scoring offense. They added a great linebacker prospect in Jack Campbell too.

The game will be close, but I think the Chicago Bears come up short in this one. Justin Fields struggled mightily against the Lions defense last season. Although I do not believe he will look that bad, he and the rest of the offense just aren't on their game today and fall short.
