Have you ever wanted to watch the Chicago Bears play on the road instead of on your television or at Soldier Field? Here is a great way to do that and the best part is the tickets are free. That's right, the Chicago Bears will be visiting the Colts on August 16th and August 17th for two separate joint practices. The best part is that to attend, all you need to do is select a ticket from the Colts' website.

Both of the practices start at 4:00 pm and are held at Grand Park in Westfield, IN. The teams square off in a preseason game that Saturday as well. You could turn this into a single-day trip or possibly a four-to-five-day weekend. That is if you also decide to purchase preseason tickets. This way you can see the teams face off in a joint practice and then compete in a preseason game.

It looks like you can book a room starting at roughly $100 per night near Westfield, IN. If you want to go to the preseason game, third-party sites look to be selling tickets at a starting price of $15 per ticket plus fees. If you are looking to drive, it is between a two-and-a-half to four-hour drive from most parts in the Chicagoland area. This is just under 200 miles to and from Chicago to Indianapolis. This is the perfect way for Chicago Bears fans to truly enjoy the offseason.

What will be interesting is Matt Eberflus, Alan Williams, and a few other coaches facing off against their old team. With only three preseason games now, this should be the team's dress rehearsal -- meaning that the actual starters should see the most playing time they will see during the preseason. You could actually see Justin Fields vs Anthony Richardson -- even if only for a series or two. How awesome would that be?

I might have to talk my wife into letting me take my two boys to the preseason game.
