1. Justin Fields has shown that he can breakout

You have to watch all of the Chicago Bears games to see it, but there are moments of brilliance from Justin Fields that make any fan believe that he is ready to break out. He obviously saw a jump in touchdown rate as a passer, but going from 2.6% to 5.3% with the supporting cast he had was impressive. His total interceptions went up, but so did his pass attempts. His interception rate dropped from 3.7% to 3.5%.

His adjusted net yards per attempt went up from 4.24 to 4.63 as well, showing an improvement across the board. So, the supporting cast got worse if anything, and he still showed the signs of life. In that run from weeks six to 11, he showed that he can be the player you build a franchise around.

As a passer, he had 10 touchdowns to four interceptions in that run. The goal is to use this offseason to make that span of games be what Justin Fields is for the course of a season. If he kept the rate he had from weeks six through 11 over the course of his season he would have finished with 28 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. Fans would probably be quite happy if that was his outcome, along with what he brings on the ground.
