Week 12 of the 2015 season
This game is a Bears-Packers classic. The Packers were retiring Hall of Fame quarterback Brett Favre's jersey number this game and the home crowd was ready to give their longtime quarterback a standing ovation and beat the Bears. But the Bears came into Lambeau Field with a different plan in mind.
The Bears ruined the Packers' party, defeating them by a score of 17-13 as a freezing rain pelted the field.
Quarterback Jay Cutler had a respectable game, throwing for 200 yards and a touchdown and having one of his best games against the Packers. Wideout Alshon Jeffrey, his favorite target this season, had seven catches for 90 yards.
The Bears MVP in this game was cornerback Tracy Porter. He intercepted Aaron Rodgers in the fourth quarter and nabbed four pass deflections as well. Furthermore, the entire Bears defense held Rodgers, one of the best quarterbacks from the 2010s, to just 202 passing yards and stopped him on the final drive of the game.
The Super Bowl XLIV hero for the New Orleans Saints enjoyed a comeback season with the Bears at 29 years old, his penultimate season in the league.
In John Fox's first year as head coach, there were a lot of ups and downs. This was a bright spot from the Bears 2015 season.
