Luke Getsy has already worn out his welcome in Las Vegas after two games

Hmmmm weird!

Remember Luke Getsy? You remember Luke Getsy. He was the guy that you enjoyed yelling at every Sunday afternoon for two seasons. You thought he'd be able to recapture the magic he found in Green Bay with the Bears, but turns out the NFL is a little trickier to figure out when you don't have one of the half dozen QBs of all-time on your roster.

In case you're not totally up to date with the staffing decisions in the AFC West, it's important to start this by letting you know that Luke Getsy's on the Raiders now. Really! He's their offensive coordinator, because apparently a team saw what he did with the Bears and wanted more. He was hired to run Antonio Pierce's offense this past offseason, meaning that he hasn't actually coordinated a game yet. That is not, however, stopping any Raiders fans from firing him on Twitter dot com. Yeah now you remember Luke Getsy.

The Luke Getsy experience in Las Vegas looks awfully familiar

Calling Getsy's scheme a Micky Mouse offense is the most relatable experience the modern Bears fan has. Raiders fans simply don't have any idea how many 2nd-and-long runs they're about to watch this year, and it's probably for the best that it stays that way. Ignorance really is bliss when your favorite football team has an unhealthy love of bubble screens.

Things will probably get better for poor Luke, though. He has two QBs to choose from! While the Bears only had Justin Fields (apologies to Tyson Bagent and his family), the Raiders have Gardner Minshew and Aidan O'Connell. When you have that kind of firepower under center, I'd argue it's almost impossible to have a bad passing offense.

It's too bad that Raiders fans are being so quick to get on the internet and trash Getsy. They could learn a thing or two about kindness from Bears fans, who definitely didn't also do that. At least Bears fans waited until the regular season.
