3. The Cleveland Browns run defense took a big hit this week

The Cleveland Browns interior defensive line has been a huge strength of the roster this season. They do not have any big names in the group, but they ran four players in a rotation pretty consistently, and the depth would wear teams out.

That is starting to thin, though. Maurice Hurst was placed on the injured reserve this week, ending his season. Dalvin Tomlinson leads the rotation with a 63% snap share, but Shelby Harris, Maurice Hurst, and Jordan Elliott all rotated about 39% of the playing time.

The Browns will either need to see the other two step up in their snaps, which may hurt their overall impact. Or, they will rely on rookie Siaki Ika to step into that role. It will be a big test for Ika against a Bears rushing attack that seems to be improving.

We are finally seeing what a healthy combination of Teven Jenkins and Nate Davis looks like, and it appears to be a good pairing. This will still be a big test for the Bears line, but it did get a touch easier without Hurst in the mix.
