8. Are we seeing an emergence from Tyler Scott for the Chicago Bears?

When the Chicago Bears moved on from Chase Claypool, their initial move was to get Robert Tonyan, Marcedes Lewis, and Khari Blasingame on the field more. However, the Bears wanted to pass more, and after two weeks of leaning heavy, they went back to more three wide receiver sets. That meant Tyler Scott seeing career highs across the board.

Scott was averaging about eight snaps per game and boosted that up to 20 snaps in week six. He also saw a career-high four targets, although a blown-up screen was one of them. Still, it was easily the most we have seen him involved this season. Will it continue?

If you think about it, Scott will have more experience with Tyson Bagent than other wide receivers due to practice rotation. Bagent knew to trust DJ Moore in crisis moments but also was looking to Scott more than Mooney. We could start to see a shift in the coming weeks as Mooney is a free agent who will leave, and Scott is a rookie who may get on the field next year as well.
