Many reasons why the Bears should fire Matt Eberflus and replace him with Todd Monken

Both the Bears' QB1 and the Ravens' multi-talented quarterback have improved in 2023 at diagnosing plays and choosing the best pass target. What does this say about Justin Fields and his future knowing he has gotten poor coaching, yet he is still improving his deficiencies?

Then we have Lamar who has made great strides in his game now that he has the right coach to guide him. This says to me the Bears have a special quarterback in Justin Fields and should not only keep him but make the smartest move possible for him to maximize his growth.

It is no coincidence that the growth for both of these quarterbacks has come in good part because these two QBs are being allowed to throw the ball more often for passes that are farther than 10 yards past the line of scrimmage than they have thrown in previous seasons. It needs to be noted that Luke Getsy's failures are also Matt Eberflus's failures.

The Bears' "Play-Not-To-Lose" Head Coach, obviously, chose Getsy because he uses a conservative version of the West Coast Offense. This strategy has resulted in stunting the growth of the most talented quarterback the Chicago Bears have had in a very long time.
