1. How will the Chicago Bears running back by committee work out?

If someone tells you that they know who will be the leading running back in carries for the 2023 season they are lying to you. The reality is that you can make a strong case for three different options, and it will come down to play on the field.

Khalil Herbert is the big play hitter. He has the most experience in the scheme, and the Bears' offseason was spent finding the right compliments around him. It seems he could be the man. Roschon Johnson was drafted by this front office, and Herbert was not. Then, there is D'Onta Foreman who has the experience between the tackles. He has experience in the red zone, and he is the one who can grind out games late.

There are real cases for each one. The reality is that the best bet is for all of them to have a very similar workload and situations will dictate who shakes out the best. However, guessing who will be the leader at this point is a complete mystery, and you have not even been able to guess correctly if you started making guesses halfway through the season.
