9. Chicago Bears best 2023 NFL draft options

Some would say that this is not the best outcome because they could trade down. Still, you could argue that cornerback and running back are not really needed. You can also say that when they traded down to nine they knew that Will Anderson would be off of the board.

So, Anderson, two cornerbacks, and one running back joining four quarterbacks are about as good of a top-eight as you can get for the Chicago Bears. They can take Jaxon Smith-Njigba as the top wideout. They can take any tackle, whether it is Peter Skoronski, Broderick Jones, or Paris Johnson.

On defense, they even see Tyree Wilson join Lukas Van Ness, and Myles Murphy as the top edge rusher. Oh, yes Jalen Carter is there as well.

So, they theoretically could still trade down, although the return will not be quarterback strong. Still, they have six or seven solid options if the NFL draft does break this way for the Chicago Bears.
