1. Will the Chicago Bears find the right buyer for Justin Fields?

This one is much less about moving players than moving the salary. Still, Justin Fields will be on the books for $6M this next season. The Bears cannot cut him and save money, but they certainly could trade him and clear that money off of their books. At this point, it would be a surprise if Justin Fields is on the Chicago Bears in 2024.

Whether it was his fault or not, things did not work out between the two parties. Now, Fields has a chance to move on and potentially start for a new team next year before he is due for a new contract. The Chicago Bears get a crack at the first overall pick on a cheap deal for the next four or five years.

If the Bears did not pick so high, this would not be as obvious, and Fields would likely be returning. However, with the Bears and Fields having rip chords to help them move on, it is for the best.

Now, the only question becomes which team wil trade for him? With his $6M saved on top of Whitehair and Jackson, the Chicago Bears could and probably will save $27M more in cap space this offseason.
