Which player would each NFC North division foe steal from the Chicago Bears?
Detroit Lions would take D.J. Moore from the Chicago Bears
The Detroit Lions went out and signed Cameron Sutton, Emmanuel Mosley, and CJ Gardner-Johnson. It is safe to say that they will not be needy of a cornerback, even if that is a strength of the Chicago Bears. Kerby Joseph had a strong rookie year, and Tracy Walker is known, so they do not need safety all that badly as well.
The edge rusher room is better with Aidan Hutchinson, and the Chicago Bears have no one to offer. The Lions could use an extra interior lineman, but the Chicago Bears' best is Justin Jones or the upside of Gervon Dexter.
Linebacker is a real choice, but they did just draft Jack Cambell in round one. Still, between Edmunds and Campbell they would have the elite size and would limit the snaps from Alex Anzalone. They could even be at T.J. Edwards, considering Campbell will be playing the role Edmunds will.
When you shift to offense, the Lions offensive line is too good to tinker with and they just drafted Sam LaPorta. It sounds funny because the team has Amon-Ra St. Brown, and they just drafted Jameson Williams high, but they do need a wide receiver.
Williams is still unproven, injured most of last year, and is now suspended. Beyond those two is Marvin Jones and Josh Reynolds. In three wide-out looks, both of these two will be on the field in the first third of the year, and then one of them will remain on the field throughout the year.
The Detroit Lions could go with Edwards, Edmunds, or D.J. Moore. However, if they could assemble Moore, Williams, and St. Brown, it would be a devastating trio, and that would be worth the addition. Would you make the same addition, or who would your choices be?
