2. Minnesota Vikings (3)

Week 2 result: Win against San Francisco 49ers, 23-17

The Minnesota Vikings might be real. For all the talk of the Green Bay Packers (we will get to them) being able to insert any quarterback into their system and finding success, Vikings' head coach Kevin O'Connell is proving to be able to do the same.

Sam Darnold was terrific against his former team on Sunday. Darnold threw for two touchdowns in the Vikings' upset win over the 49ers, and if this is the quarterback play Minnesota gets throughout the season, they will be a team to fear. Throughout all the talk this past offseason that the Vikings were taking a bridge year with no expectation of being a threat in the NFC, the team remained confident in their ability to contend. If Darnold continues on this trend, the Vikings will be a difficult matchup for any team.
