Week 4 result: Win against Seattle Seahawks, 42-29

For the first time this season, the Detroit Lions are not sitting atop our NFC North power rankings. That is more a testament to how strong the Vikings have looked this season as opposed to anything the Lions have done.

Having said that, the Lions' defense doesn't seem as improved as they were hoping it would be at the start of the season. The difference between the Lions' defense and the Vikings' defense is why Detroit falls to No. 2.

Having said that, the Lions could quickly return to the top spot if Jared Goff is as excellent as he was on Monday night. Goff completed all 18 of his pass attempts for a total of 292 passing yards and 2 touchdowns.
