4. Will Chase Brown stick around in Illinois?
Chase Brown spent the past four years living in Illinois, why not spend four more? Fans of the Illini would know that Chase Brown has been a workhorse for the team, and has 572 carries over the past two seasons.
He is not the perfect fit next to Khalil Herbert from a power perspective, but he can handle a lot of the load, and Herbert can still change up the pace from time to time. Beyond that, Brown provides more value than Herbert in the passing game. Both of them are big play hitters, and it could become an explosive group with Brown, Herbert, and of course, Justin Fields.
Chase Brown is a player who may end up rising after the NFL combine due to his athletic testing. If you have seen him you know he has a rocked up build, and these events are for him. Still, he is likely a day three runner, and if he can prove to the Bears that he can handle a workload, they would love the addition in that area.
