3. Camerun Peoples could bring power to the Chicago Bears

Camerun Peoples is more of a deep sleeper who is flying under the radar. Still, if the Chicago Bears are smart they will not spend too much on running back, and that means someone like Peoples is a legitimate options.

Peoples had a strong career at Appalachain State. In 2020, he put up 1,124 yards, and then in 2021 he had 925 yards. Unfortately for him, he had 592 yards, missing time with injuries, and being victim of a timeshare to keep him healthy.

So, a player who went from 1,124 to 925 and then 592 yards will not be a high priority add. Still, he fits the Chicago Bears well. One reason he was losing carries was they needed him on passing downs to pass protect. He gained snaps in that area, and other backs took his carries in the rotation. That is what the Chicago Bears need.

More than that, he is the definition of a goal line back in build. He is expected to weigh closer to 230 pounds than 220 pounds. He is going to be a load to bring down, and the definition of thunder and lightning with him and Khalil Herbert.

This is what the Chicago Bears need. It does not have to cost a lot. Obviously this is a big week for Peoples to answer questions about his last season in college. If he impressed the Chicago Bears, he should be on their radar.
