4. Will Dontayvion Wicks answer questions at the NFL combine?

The offseason events such as the Senior Bowl and the NFL combine are huge for players such as Dontayvion Wicks. Wicks posted 1,201 yards as a junior for Virginia but came back for his senior season and things did not go well.

He posted just 430 yards, he had injuries, he dropped passes, and he had issues with attention to detail. Overall, it was a disaster. Still, if you look into his 2021 season, you see a long-limbed athlete with the ability to catch the football away from his body and make plays after the catch.

The question evaluators now need to answer is whether they can trust his 2021 tape, or if 2022 is more in line with who he is. He answered questions at the Senior Bowl and walked away a bigger winner. If he can string together a strong combine, he could start to prove that the issues last season stem from the offense, and we could see him hit his potential in the NFL.

If Wicks has a bad weekend, and that includes the interviews, he will be sliding to day three.
