2. Is Marvin Mims a weapon the Chicago Bears need?

Marvin Mims was a big play threat for the Oklahoma Sooners. He posted 610 yards in 2020 and 705 yards in 2021. Then, last season he really took over the offense and put up 1,082 yards. He had 90 targets in the two years prior, but had 87 targets just last season.

Marvin Mims is an underclassman, so we did not see him at the Senior Bowl, and this will be his big chance to show himself. Mims has 20 touchdowns over three seasons, and he also averages nearly 20 yards per catch. Needless to say, big plays are the name of the game for Marvin Mims.

The big question will be how fast he is. Does he have that WIll Fuller burner gear, or is he a 4.4 guy? It would be hard to see him running a 4.5, but that would certainly tank his stock considering how valuable speed is for his game. This will be worth looking into, as well as how teams feel about him after their first real impression.
