4. Is Dalton Risner a fit for the Chicago Bears?

There is definitely a chance that the new regime in Denver does want to bring Dalton Risner, and he is willing to buy into Sean Payton. However, the last time we saw Risner, he was shoving teammates on the sideline, and it looked like he spent his last game with the team.

The more you saw Nate Hackett coach, the more you can forgive Dalton Risner for his actions. Beyond that, you hardly heard of Risner as someone with a reputation for issues like that.

Risner has typically been a capable starter. His play has fluctuated, and after he hit the ground running as a rookie, he never quite peaked much higher than that. Still, he is reliable and has started all but two games over the last four seasons. He is coming off of his rookie deal as well, and these are the types of players to bet on in free agency. The Chicago Bears could be looking at Dalton Risner to replace Cody Whitehair, just like Risner had to do when Whitehair went to the NFL draft, and the two were at Kansas State.
