3. The Chicago Bears could consider Evan Brown

The Chicago Bears were drawn to Lucas Patrick in free agency, and that could lead them to having an interest in Evan Brown, who possesses a similar profile. Brown bounced around a bit more, but he is now a 26-year-old free agent who once was a UDFA.

Still, over the past two seasons, he started 24 games for the Detroit Lions. He has bounced around and filled in for an injured lineman, which has allowed him to play all three interior spots. However, for the most part, he played center and right guard.

He will get a deal similar to Lucas Patrick, and honestly, the Chicago Bears could afford both. Would they let both of them compete to start at center, knowing that the backup could play all three interior spots whether it is Brown or Patrick?

They liked that Patrick went from a UDFA to a starter and still has room to grow age-wise. The same can be said for Evan Brown. Why not take another shot and hope that a starter comes out of it?
