Round 4 123: Isaiah Adams, OT, Illinois

The Illinois player stays local. He actually started his career at a junior college in Canada before transferring to Illinois for the last two years. He started at right tackle last year but was at left guard for most of the year prior to that.

Adams projects better at guard, but the tackle experience does not hurt. Beyond that, with injuries to Teven Jenkins and Nate Davis, it makes plenty of sense to hit the line hard for depth.

Round 5: Tahj Washington, WR, USC

Why not get a weapon that Caleb Williams is familiar with? Tahj Washington is undersized and may just be a gadget type of player, but after missing on Velus Jones, they do need the depth at wide receiver. It would at least make life easier for Williams but also for Washington, who has played with the top pick in the draft. Perhaps Washington could give them an instant spark due to their connection, which would be excellent in the fifth round.
