5. Can the Chicago Bears FAs show anything against Mike McGlinchey?

Just like Ben Powers, the Chicago Bears were invested heavily in bringing in Mike McGlinchey as a free agent. They were down to the wire and lost him to the Denver Broncos. On one hand, McGlinchey has not been great this season, and it has been easy for Bears fans to assume he would not have made a difference.

At the same time, McGlinchey has squared off with Maxx Crosby, Montez Sweat, and Jaelan Phillips as his primary battle companions. Sweat and Crosby worked him, but he held his own against Phillips.

When you look at the Chicago Bears, he will see most of his day against DeMarcus Walker. That is like hitting with the donut and then switching to the bat and having it feel much lighter. He could swing hard this week. Can the Chicago Bears free agent beat the player the Bears could not sign?

Yannick Ngakoue is the better pass rusher, and Garrett Bolles is the better pass protector. Should the Chicago Bears rush Ngakoue on that side more? Will Powers and McGlinchey both have their best games against Chicago, if only because it is the easiest pass rusher they face?
