5. Would the Chicago Bears ever pull the plug on Justin Fields?

The second year of Justin Fields with Luke Getsy has been an absolute disaster. While there are ways for Fields to win the coaches and fanbase over they do not look realistic from where we stand. So, it begs the question of whether or not the Bears will get to a point where they want to look another way.

The answer is probably no. They will not bench him for Nathan Peterman, so that is out of the question. The only way they would do that is if they think Tyson Bagent could get onto the NFL field. They tend to like the potential upside that comes with Bagent, but they know that he is a project making the jump from the small school. They probably would rather let him learn from the sidelines at this point.

Still, there is always the chance that the Bears get to this point. What could make them do it?
