The Chicago Bears finally got themselves a win with a dominant performance over the Washington Commanders. Bears fans can feel good this weekend, but the team sits at 1-4 and has work to do to dig out of this hole. With a division game coming up next week, what are some questions that came out of the win?

10. Was it bad defenses, or is Justin Fields playing better for the Chicago Bears?

The past two weeks are quite easily the best two weeks that Justin Fields has put together in his career. Some of it should be expected when you consider he is getting better every week, and they are his most recent games. Still, after the start of the season, it looked like he was lost and could not be saved.

So, the question is, did Fields find something, or did he just so happen to play some really bad defenses? According to RBSDM, the Green Bay Packers rank 12th in passing defense, while the Buccaneers rank 7th, and the Kansas City Chiefs rank 5th. On the flip side, the Denver Broncos rank 32nd in passing expected points allowed, and the Washington Commanders rank 27th.

So, Justin Fields played well against bottom five pass defenses and played badly against top 12 pass defenses. How will he look against average units?
