11. Can Travis Bell make a push for the Chicago Bears roster?

Travis Bell has been a pleasant surprise in training camp. He finsihed his preseason debut with a sack, and lined up all over the defensive line.

When the Chicago Bears drafted Bell, the intentions may have been that one year on the practice squad would do him well. He comes from Kennesaw State and was not on the draft radar of many. However, Ryan Poles loves his character, and it was clear by the celebrations of his sack that the team likes him as well.

There is something about keeping the guy who works hard for everything around. He may be raw and developmental, but his upside may be immense, and risking him for the practcie squad could lead to another team taking a chance.

At the same time, he has loyalty to the Poles, and it is hard to see him playing much this season. He is climbing, but is outside the top 53.
