2. Chicago Bears could add Olu Oluwatimi to compete at center

If the Chicago Bears are turned off by the measurables of Luke Wypler, they could be more interested in Olu Oluwatimi. Olu Oluwatimi is a four-year starter at center. He transferred from Virginia to Michigan and that is when his name really got put on the draft map. Still, it was not enough for a rise to see him on the first two days.

Olu Oluwatimi checks more of the physical profile than Wypler. The big difference is that Wypler is more athletic and can get out in space and run. Olu Oluwatimi is much more of a plodder who has slower feet, but a lot more power. In pass protection, this is not an issue as the Chicago Bears want an anchor. The question is whether they would want someone who can get to the second level more cleanly as a run blocker. That is not the best part of Olu Oluwatimi's game.

Still, the Chicago Bears waited on center, and if they do not take one of Olu Oluwatimi or Luke Wypler, the question becomes who do they end up drafting? The time seems to be right, and it may be time to pick your position if you are the Bears.
