1. Zach Charbonnet, UCLA

This one has to be discussed mainly because the Chicago Bears are showing some real interest in Zach Charbonnet. He came to visit Halas Hall, and while that could mean nothing, it also certainly means that they want to know more about what he brings.

Of all these backs, he is the three-down grinder. He is comparable to David Montgomery, and may even have a touch more juice moving forward. Charbonnet can catch, block, run power, and also juke and wiggle in the holes.

The question with him is how high he goes. Most analysts have him as a top-five running back, and we had him at number two. They would have to take him with one of their three picks between 53 and 64. That is a bit rich for a running back.

Still, it is clear that if they do go in this direction in the early 60s, it will be Charbonnet. If they wait until round four, it could be Chase Brown or Roschon Johnson and if they wait until round seven you could see Evan Hull or Travis Dye in the mix for the Chicago Bears.
