The Chicago Bears have the most cap space in free agency, and with that, they have the most holes. You can argue that they may add a player at every position. If the team makes 10 signings and spreads them across each spot, who are some of the better fits and more realistic players to land with the Bears?

10. Should the Chicago Bears pay up for Dre'Mont Jones?

The Denver Broncos and Dre'Mont Jones do not appear to be very close on salary, and it looks like they will lose him in free agency. If any team will pay for Jones, it is the Chicago Bears. He has been averaging about six sacks per season, but he will only be 26 next season and the best play is undoubtedly ahead of him

Beyond that, he was drafted by Vic Fangio, and Bears fans should understand that Fangio settles for taking up blockers over penetrating for sacks. Conversely, Matt Eberflus plays a more aggressive style up front. This could lead to Jones having much more production in the Eberflus scheme compared to the role he was playing in Denver.

The Broncos debated the franchise tag for Jones, so the Chicago Bears are going to have to pay up. Still, if there is a name to pay for it is the ascending, and athletic prospect who fits the scheme and could do damage in a better role. The only reason he is so low is that the Bears also could spend up for Zach Allen or Javon Hargrave. You know they want to pay for a 3-technique at some point, though.
