3. Will Chicago Bears sign Mike McGlinchey?

The Chicago Bears are in a great position to sign a right tackle. They could go for Jawaan Taylor, Kaleb McGary, or Mike McGlinchey. All of them are former top 50 picks, McGary was a first rounder, and McGlinchey went top 10. The team seems likely to end up with one of the three.

My money is on McGlinchey. Taylor maybe the best bet due to his age and potential, but the Jaguars also seem more likely to keep him than the 49ers or Falcons with their tackles. You could argue McGary vs McGlinchey, and McGary probably was better last season.

However, over the five-year span, the more consistent player was McGlinchey. He still brings plenty of upside, and while he did not play up to his top-10 pick status, he is a quality starter and that is hard to find. Beyond that, he is better as a run blocker, and that makes him the perfect fit for the Chicago Bears.

Keep an eye on which tackle the Bears sign, then how that salary compare to the others.
