Ranking the top 20 prospects the Bears must have on their big board pre-Combine
1. Marvin Harrison, Jr., WR - Ohio State
What do you want me to say about easily the best prospect in the 2024 NFL Draft? I keep seeing some people saying Malik Nabors deserves to be the WR1 in this draft class. I'm sorry, but the response to that is absolutely not. I love Nabors as a prospect. He is going to end up on this list. However, he is not the top receiver prospect in this draft class and he has no chance of taking over that spot from Harrison, unless Harrison is convicted of some serious crime.
When we hear the word generational, it is not too often that we think about the receiver position. In fact, plenty of very good receivers have come out of the draft over the last few years. None have gotten me as excited as Harrison.
Harrison is the ideal wide receiver in the NFL. He has amazing hands, can control his body during contested catches, has great size and speed, has some serious hops when high-pointing the ball, and his route-running abilities are absolutely amazing. Honestly, I expect him to have a better career than his father as long as he lands with a relatively competent quarterback.
I have Marvin Harrison, Jr in his own tier above even quarterbacks Drake Maye and Caleb Williams.
