The Chicago Bears suffered a blowout loss to Los Angeles that brought the team back down to reality after a fun win versus the Las Vegas Raiders. While it was fun to get caught up in one win, it was a bit optimistic to think that they would be able to hang with the Chargers after that. There are some realities that fans must accept, which may help them appreciate the ups and downs more.

5. The Chicago Bears offensive line is going to remain flawed

For a brief second, Chicago Bears fans thought that the offensive line was making progress. However, they got a bad Raiders run defense with just one good player up front. The Chargers have a bit more, and while the Bears line can flash in moments, they are not good enough to put it all together.

On the first drive of the game, Larry Borom was beaten to blow up by Khalil Mack on a jet sweep in the backfield, and then Cody Whitehair got rocked by Joey Bosa for a sack. On the second drive, the Bears saw their drive ruined by Lucas Patrick. Teven Jenkins is playing his second position this year, and Darnell Wright is still a rookie. This line is not going to come together this year; they are not good enough.

The Bears can get Braxton Jones and Nate Davis back, but they still have to ask Teven Jenkins to change positions again, and they still have the glaring issue at center. There will be moments, but it will only come in the right spots and moments.
