Continuity is key

The Bears recently fired offensive coordinator Luke Getsy. This means that the Justin Fields will soon have his 3rd OC in 4 years. That's hard enough on a young quarterback, not to mention the adjustment of a new head coach.

Justin Fields improved again in 2023. Did he become elite? No, but he did improve. Eberflus' defense was also improved, as mentioned above, so why not see if Fields can take another step with a new OC? I believe keeping Eberflus around would be the best thing for Fields in 2024. Let Eberflus hire another OC and see what happens. If it fails, you can make the move after 2024.
