Round 2, Pick No. 61: Adetomiwa Adebawore, EDGE, Northwestern

Selecting a third defensive player, specifically another lineman, is a bold approach, but skipping over Adetomiwa Adebawore would be a crime from the Bears on draft night. Adebawore would round out the second round very nicely for the Bears and add a player who could play all over.

Adebawore's combine showcased a player with insane speed and explosiveness. Scouts question whether he can make the transition from the outside to an interior rusher, but that's something that the Bears can afford to gamble on. Considering the team's active participation at Northwestern's recent Pro Day, it would be shocking if Adebawore wasn't at least on the team's radar.

Round 3, Pick No. 64: Joe Tippmann, Center, Wisconsin

The Bears moved on from Sam Mustipher this offseason and at the moment seem to be ready to roll out Cody Whitehair in 2023. Whitehair would save the team almost $10 million if he was designated as a June 1st cut. It would behoove the team to draft a long-term option at center, and Tippmann could be the man for the job.

Tippmann's movement is fluid across the offensive line, as he uses quick feet and ling arms to climb up to different blocking levels. He needs some work overall in his pass protection, but he's a smart player who uses his size really well. The Bears should look to Tippmann as a possible center candidate in this year's draft.
