Simone Biles has Chicago Bears fans shocked with gear ahead of preseason game

When the Chicago Bears signed safety Jonathan Owens to a two-year deal this past offseason, the team gained a new fan in Olympic Gold medalist, Simone Biles.

Biles is married to Owen and while the safety was playing for the Green Bay Packers in recent seasons, the gymnast would be spotted on the sidelines for most games at Lambeau Field.

With the Bears hosting a preseason game at Soldier Field on Saturday against the Cincinnati Bengals on Saturday, it was the first time that Biles would be in attendance, rooting on the home team.

The only issue for Biles was her wardrobe decision.

Yes, that is Biles on the Bears' sideline at Soldier Field while wearing a Green Bay Packers' jacket. Even though the Jacket is more meant to represent Owens, Bears fans were up in arms upon first sight.

Naturally, it makes sense for Biles to want to show support for her husband during his first preseason game with the Bears at Soldier Field. The issue is that she had five months to come up with a custom jacket that not only featured Owens but had the Bears represented instead of the Packers. There is absolutely no excuse for her to be wearing a Packers jacket during her first appearance as a Bears fan.

Biles also shared a message prior to the start of the game that confirmed she was indeed rooting for the Bears.

Biles is one of the most decorated athletes in the history of this country, so we will give her a pass this time. Plus, it's only the preseason. But, in the regular season, such an offense would permit a lifetime ban at Soldier Field.
