The Chicago Bears have been noted to be a team that is actively looking at the back end of other teams roster to improve their own. They made a habit of claiming guys cut in the process of roster building last year, and this year they appear to be on the same path. However, they have claimed guys in the middle of the preseason this time around.

These names may have chances to make the roster, like last year, but so far, we have not seen much. The Chicago Bears claimed Bravvion Roy, Mykal Walker, and Logan Stenberg in the past two weeks.

Roy is a nose tackle, and will backup Andrew Billings, so his role is rather defined. Still, he has run third team, and even then, he has hardly seen the field. It is hard to see him being anything more than a practice squad candidate.

Mykal Walker is still behind rookie UDFA Micah Baskerville. He has only been here for a week or so, so this may change, but he only played 24 snaps on Saturday, while Baskerville played 33. Logan Stenberg could push Alex Leatherwood at left guard. However, after one week, it was not a rotation.

Leatherwood started and played deep into the third quarter. Stenberg was his backup and finished the game when Leatherwood was done. Week three will be huge for Roy, Stenberg, and Walker. They have all been cut already and now are just a week away from seeing the same fate again. Can they change their outcomes?
