3 teams most likely to sign Chicago Bears WR Darnell Mooney in free agency

The Chicago Bears are unlikely to re-sign Darnell Mooney in free agency. While he had a bad end to his time with the team, he still had a good four-year run, and there are going to be teams interested in signing Darnell Mooney in free agency. Which teams make the most sense to add the former Chicago Bears wide receiver?

3. Will the Kansas City Chiefs have interest in the Chicago Bears wide receiver 

The Kansas City Chiefs did make the Super Bowl with the current wide receiver corps. However, you could easily note that if there is a position room for the Chiefs to improve on this offseason, it is the wide receivers. 

Mecole Hardman is a free agent, and Marquez Valdes-Scantling has a $13M cap hit, which the team could save $11M by releasing him. When comparing Valdes-Scantling to Mooney over the last four years, Mooney has not only been more productive, but he has had the clear-cut worse quarterback situation, with Valdes-Scartling having Patrick Mahomes and Aaron Rodgers throughout his entire career. 

The Kansas City Chiefs would be wise to cut Valdes-Scantling and then give that salary to Mooney. Mooney has to see Mahomes and think this is the best situation, and the money is not bad. When you add in that Matt Nagy is the offensive coordinator and the person who drafted Darnell Mooney in 2020, the fit makes a little bit too much sense. Will Chicago Bears regret being happy to see Mooney leave when he tears it up with Mahomes next year?
