4. The Chiacgo Bears have to give us a full week of Braxton Jones

Braxton Jones started in his return from the IR against the New Orleans Saints. This is a huge boost because Larry Borom has serious questions about pass protection. Jones started but only played 76% of the snaps. This left 16 snaps, or 24% for Larry Borom. They rotated a little early and late. Unfortunately, when Borom came in late into the game, the Saints recorded a strip sack that ended the game.

A week does not go by without Borom ending a drive due to a mistake. The Chicago Bears need to take his 16 snaps and toss them out. It is fair to say that Braxton Jones has missed six games, and his first game back should be easy.

First, if they knew that he would be on a pitch count, they should have sat him earlier in the game to make sure that he had availability for a potential game-winning drive. Second, this has to stop after last week. Borom cost the team in his limited time, and taking Jones out takes him out of a groove, even if it gives him a breather. It is a short week, so the Bears may want to be cautious.

However, you can also factor in that he will spend most of his night against rookie DJ Johnson because the Panthers' top three edge rushers will be out this week. It is an easier introduction for him despite the short break in between games. They have to stick with Jones starting and playing the entire game.
