3. Would the Tampa Bay Buccaneers trade the Chicago Bears?

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are the furthest back that we have discussed as they sit at number 19. However, they would be the team gets intriguing if a quarterback does fall to nine. When Tom Brady left, many thought the fire sale would begin.

However, they kept guys like Lavonte David, Mike Evans, Jamel Dean, and more when they had a chance to move off of them. They appear to be committed to competing. One reason could be their division is so weak.

They have Desmond Ridder, Derek Carr, and the top pick in this draft. Let's say the Bucs' number one quarterback is there at nine. They had him ranked over the guy Carolina took. We can all assume they also would take him over Carr, and Ridder, so the Bucs could be in a spot at pick nine where they think they can take the top quarterback in the division, possibly for the next four or five seasons.

That would intrigue any team. If their roster is too good to bottom out, they may even throw in a future first. This is about the same exact range the Bears unloaded a first to move up for Justin Fields, so the parameters of the trade could be similar.

If the Chicago Bears leave the draft weekend with the Panthers, Bucs, and their own first-rounder, they would be the big winners. Do the Bucs believe they can compete next year? Their move at quarterback will tell us.
