NFL Comp No. 4: Rome Odunze comp'd to Ja'Marr Chase

As far as Chicago Bears prospects, Rome Odunze has as many NFL comps as the Bears have had starting quarterbacks in the last decade. At first, that was a scary thought, but then it clicked.

Rome Odunze is a rare prospect. He has the size of Larry Fitzgerald or Mike Evans but with the style of Davante Adams or Courtland Sutton.

In this case, however, ESPN gives Rome Odunze a comp to Ja'Marr Chase.

I'm not seeing it.

Ja'Marr Chase was one of the best draft prospects the NFL has seen in years, while Rome Odunze ranges from WR1 to WR3 in this draft. That's where it's important to know what the comp is. Is it as a prospect, or as a finished product?

Rome Odunze could be a Ja'Marr Chase after a few seasons in the NFL, but to think they're the same prospect is a bit ludicrous.

If the Chicago Bears agree with this Rome Odunze comp, they'll be sprinting to the podium if he's still available at No. 9.
