NFL Comp No.7: Dallas Turner comp'd to Josh Allen (JAX)

Dallas Turner is one of the edge prospects linked to the Chicago Bears if the top three receivers are off the board at the No. 9 pick. Turner is an athletic freak, and his NFL comp is pretty accurate.

And no, he isn't comp'd to the Buffalo Bills' quarterback; this comp is to the Jaguars' EDGE who shares the same name.

The main reason this comp rings true is because both of these guys are truly athletic freaks, as stated previously. There's a possibility they could even be drafted in the same spot, No. 7, if the Chicago Bears don't get him.

While looking at these two prospects, something interesting crossed my eye. Maybe it's a coincidence, but it's sorta cool nonetheless.

Dallas Turner sacks

Josh Allen sacks

First year in CFB: 10.0 sacks

First year in NFL: 10.5 sacks

Most recent year in CFB: 14.5 sacks

Most recent year in NFL: 17.5 sacks

Both of these guys entered their careers in their respective leagues with 10+, while also just having a season with ~15 sacks. College football has fewer games than the NFL, so maybe Dallas Turner could be an even more productive Josh Allen.

If the Chicago Bears can draft him, that's the goal.
